12 Days Post Surgery and Happy To Be Home

I was finally able to take some "after" pictures of Quinn and he is looking fantastic. It is going to be 6 months before we will know the final result and if he will need and touch ups but I am so amazed and thankful to Dr Waner, Dr Fay and their team for the amazing results Quinn has already had. It is truly amazing especially when you look back at how far he has come.

In April Dr Fay said he may need more surgery on his eyelid and I tend to agree because it is still flipped under and irritating him. He said he could shorten the muscle to give him better function of his eyelid.

Quinn's cheek is still swollen from the lipo and will be for some time until it is completely healed and hopefully the corner of his new lip will pop up and not need revision.

The fraxel has done an amazing job of beginning to smooth the scarring he has and it has changed significantly so far. Dr Waner thinks the fraxel will do the job and I trust his judgement. I always had it in my head that it needed to be cut out but if we can avoid that and still get a good result it will be that much less trauma to his little body.

So now we play the waiting game and I will be taking pics of him again non stop and hoping for good results. We are also using the Rejuveness cream for scarring and if anyone wants to know about it (it is amazing!) let me know. It is not cheap but it produces results. I am testing it on a scar I have had since I was very small and it has definitely improved and that scar is over 30 years old!
